Contact Your Legislators
Constituent contact is extremely important in the decision making process
for elected officials. Over the past several years, Canterbury Park
has worked closely with Legislators to explain the benefits of the Racino. The
ongoing dialogue allowed us to pass the House of Representatives in
2003. Please help us maintain this dialogue by continuing to contact
your state legislators. Your efforts have helped us solidify or change
Legislators' positions on the Racino in the past, and we ask for your
continuous support.

Write
a Letter to the Editor of your Newspaper
Letters to the Editor are a great way to spark public debate on an issue.
Keep your letter short and neat. The length should be under 300 words;
handwritten letters are not accepted. Be sure to include your name,
address and telephone number. Printed personal information will be limited
to your name and town, but complete personal information is needed to
confirm your letter is a legitimate response.
